Venu Dresdenon- Koran Bonvenon! - Come to Dresden- Welcome!

This was the motto of the fourth Esperanto World Congress held in Dresden in 1908. Georg Arnhold, the namesake and founder of the Dresden baths, and his son Heinrich Arnhold were among the co-founders of the Saxon Esperanto movement. The Arnhold family thus actively promoted international understanding and social issues in Dresden 100 years ago - just as they did with the foundation of the "Georg Arnhold Baths".

We will show you the traces of the historic Arnhold baths on site, provide information about the history of the Arnhold family and introduce the Esperanto movement (in German). Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for mutual exchange.

Organised by: HATiKVA - The Hope. Educational and Meeting Centre for Jewish History and Culture Saxony e. V., Georg-Arnhold-Bad (Dresdner Bäder GmbH), Dr Marcos Malke Cramer and Daniela Wittig (speakers)
