About the organiser
The three associations and companies involved in tourism marketing, which had previously operated independently – Tourismusregion Zwickau e.V., CWE mbH from Chemnitz and Heimat- und Verkehrsverein „Rochlitzer Muldental“ e.V. – founded a joint "Tourismusverband Chemnitz Zwickau Region e.V." on 1 February 2023. In addition to the three tourism partners, the districts of Central Saxony and Zwickau, the cities of Chemnitz and Zwickau, and the municipality of Callenberg are also involved in the founding of the new tourism association. The inspiration for the thematic revitalisation of the new CHEMNITZ. ZWICKAU. REGION. brand lies in the triad of industry, culture and nature.
