Renowned young architects at that time transported and adapted the "International Style" from the Bauhaus school, which the Nazis considered degenerate, to the Middle East. In Tel Aviv, the "White City," a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2003, a number of remarkable modernist residential buildings were erected. Some of these are presented in the exhibition.
