Artists Katharina Eirich (vocals) and Lora Kostina (piano/arrangements) present a varied and charmingly moderated show featuring songs and stories from the lives of the most famous Jewish composers from Berlin, Eastern Europe and New York. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. A guided tour of the city will start at 3:30 p.m. at the Frauenkirche/Meissen exhibition. Combined tickets for the city tour and concert are also available at the Hafenstraße e.V. socio-cultural centre.

About the organiser
Cultural work in practice is linked to the fundamental idea of social participation. Practical work, experiencing one's own actions and experiences are combined with lifelong learning, including in the area of everyday life and the development of social skills.
The socio-cultural centre "Hafenstraße" e. V. has set itself the task of revitalising the cultural and social spectrum in Meissen and beyond. Based on the assumption that all people, regardless of age, gender, nationality or social class, have cultural appropriation and expression needs, we combine aesthetic craftsmanship and everyday culture in our work.
In doing so, "Hafenstraße" e.V. is a forum and a meeting point for very different, sometimes even conflicting cultures. In general, however, the association not only enriches the cultural landscape of the city of Meissen and the surrounding district, but is also a centre for educational work.
